It also contains higher anti-oxidant properties than garlic. Dried oregano's ORAC (for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) score is 200,129 (micromoles of Trolox Equivalents for 100 grams); raw spinach's is just 1,515 of those units. So, we can see oregano is a real winner in the anti-oxidant properties and benefits.  


In addition, oregano provides anti-inflammatory health benefits. It gives relief from inflamed joints and muscles. Oregano is also known for heart health benefits.
