These foods elevate the mood and make you energetic & happier. So, it is important to note that what we eat can raise or lower levels of neurotransmitters, which are important for function of the brain. The brain consumes an immense amount of energy relative to the rest of the body. That’s why it is important neurons get more from the foods to control brain function. Studies showed us that junk foods (contain high saturated fats and sucrose) are responsible for declining of cognitive performance. Recent studies have shown a cooperative action of diet and exercise at the molecular level, which could influence cognitive abilities.
